Hello all and sundry this is really a page that i will add a fair bit on but saying that Frans as musical as me but in different areas. I am a guitar player and can class myself as pretty OK . I have been playing ages and have played most styles. I studied classical and played rock most of my life , Frans been in bands and as i type this she is driving the dogs mad with the trumpet lol, Earl just pushed Fran over hes that mad now lol . i can play high c on it and that's all. I play a bit of harmonica but not to well. I have a huge collection of instruments and always have a different guitar to choose from. OK time for poor crippled Fran to type a bit here.
Fran here...yes....I have been in bands BUT (and this is a most important but...) Steve's playing in bands is cool, where my playing in bands borders on nerdy. Steve is a guitarist and I played the tuba...something that my poor sister ended up inheriting from me. I even got to play a sousaphone which is a terrifying marching instrument that you can lose yourself in the middle of. I love music and Steve and I share a love of it together. Occasionally we veer off the pathway of unity because we are exact opposites. Where he loves some crazy punk, original gothic, neo-punk and the occasional heavy metal standard to go with his regular doses of uber cool rock, I have been known to dabble in some of the more lightweight members of the pop community. Steve and I share a deep love of classical music and he plays classical guitar beautifully albeit a little rustily... is that a word? Anyway, from time to time we will share what we are listening to here. Steve may share the occasional You tube raid of "Top 10" something-or-others and I might find something that moves me...hopefully to passionate tears and not to bouts of instant retching...I think that we will leave that to our "Just Plain Odd" page...see you soon when we hope you are delighted, entertained and amused by our musical musings.
